To do, or at least, needs doing, 2010

Just for reference, here is the hopelessly bloated list of what I think needs to be done, as soon as possible in order to create change from below in the global financial system.

Community Forge

  • improve design of www.communityforge.net, so our poverty isn't so obvious.
  • employ a tech manager so I can get on with other things
  • draft a five year plan to apply for funding to allow them to work at a higher level.
  • map all the schemes in Western Europe, according to commitment made by Tim at summer camp 2009
  • Increase the number of paid optional extras to increase cforge revenue (we cannot live on the basic packages alone, even in India)

Open Source Software & resources

  • An intertrading API is needed to enable schemes hosted on different platforms and different servers (primarily CES) to trade between themselves.
  • then work with CES and LETS link UK to demonstrate that our platform can meet the needs of the communities. they support.
  • Code a mutual_credit app for opensocial API which will work in ning
  • Provide guidance for communities to apply for grants from local government to pay, for example for software development.
  • Make a lesson plan or plans for children to learn about money and sustainability
  • Upgrade the Drupal module for the latest version of Drupal (7) and then...
  • provide a mutual credit banking service, with an API, so people only have to code the front end, for each new platform.
  • Make a currency design wizard as a public information tool.

Project Maintenance

  • Spend 1 week every month earning enough money to live
  • Make a campaign to encourage skilled long-term volunteers to come and help with the above.
  • Set up a non-profit networking/hotdesking centre in India or Nepal

Anyone want to collaborate?
